Top Maps and Navigation Apps on Android in Bahrain: Q4 2024

The fourth quarter of 2024 saw varied performance trends among the top maps and navigation apps on the Android platform in Bahrain. Here's a closer look at the top five apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.

eTraffic, developed by the Information & eGovernment Authority, maintained a steady presence with its downloads. Starting at approximately 1.5K downloads in early October, the app experienced fluctuations, peaking at 1.6K in the week of October 21. By the end of December, it stabilized around 843 downloads weekly.

Phone Tracker and GPS Location, from GPS Location Studio, showed an initial rise in downloads, reaching a peak of 962 in the week of October 21. However, the app's downloads gradually declined, settling at around 271 by the end of December.

Uber - Request a ride demonstrated a stable download pattern throughout the quarter. The app started with 537 downloads and showed minor fluctuations, closing the year with around 446 downloads weekly.

Offline Maps, GPS, Speedometer from Appcentric Team experienced a peak in mid-October with 529 downloads. Despite some fluctuations, the app ended the quarter with a weekly download count of approximately 302.

Aramex Mobile showed significant growth towards the end of the quarter. Downloads increased from 253 in late September to 467 by the end of December, highlighting a consistent upward trend.
